So thrilled and blessed to be stepping into the role of Nettie. This cast is welcoming and loving. I am excited to spend the next year with my new theatrical family. After finishing the National Tour of X and Julius Caesar, I am very interested in going back on the road. And by the way, my fiance and I are also planning a wedding for when I get back to the midwest. Shout out to the best partner, Ian Russell for being so loving and supportive as he watches me grow in my artistry and business. I saw The Color Purple National tour back in 2008 when it came to Chicago. How interesting is it that I get to bring things full circle and be in the National Tour 10 years later. Hopefully I can inspire another young actress like Felicia P. Fields and Michelle Williams inspired me. Check out the link below for when we are coming to your city.
Now that I have more time, I can finally upload the podcast episode that Ian and I so wholeheartedly participated in. We did the comedy podcast, The Judge John Hodgman show. Episode 270: The Night to Remain Silent.

The Acting Company had their table read of Julius Caesar yesterday after a full week's workshop of X: Or Betty Shabazz vs. The Nation by Marcus Gardley. The tables have turned, sort of. Julius Caesar uses the same cast as X and the set remains the same with a few conceptual changes. The shows will perform in repertory with each other and dare highlight a bigger message that is poignant and eerily relevant to current world events. Check out the show in a city near you.
